Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand, still has a number of semi-destroyed Buddhist temples — invaders from Myanmar have destroyed almost everything here. One temple has this statue of Buddha grown over by tree roots. I suspect the tree was intentionally allowed to grow over it, though.
